Is the discrepancy in distance due to any reason in particular? alternative routes?
The range in distances depends on the group’s abilities and comfort levels, weather conditions, ability to cope with local climate, and timing.  Your guides and their team will work with the group to decide on the best routes each day.
How many people can the supported van carry?
The support van will be able to accommodate the group size - maximum of participants will be 12.
What is the difficulty rating for this trek?
The Little Adams’s Peak trek will take approx 2 - 3 hours roundtrip and reaches an elevation of 1141 m. But you start the trek at about 600 m so it’s not all uphill. It is said to be a fairly easy hike with lots of clearly marked stops at viewpoints to take in the beautiful scenery of the tea plantations.  Here’s a blog story that explains more - https://nerdnomads.com/little-adams-peak
Are there snacks/water refills provided during the treks?
The treks will be guided and water and snacks will be provided during the guided experiences. Your guides will prep you the day before each day so you are prepared for the following days activities. If you would like extra snacks and beverages there will always be opportunities to stop and purchase some.
Does the company provide helmets?
The cycle company provides helmets and all bike equipment.
What is the dress code?
Sri Lanka is another conservative country when in villages and cities - they do have a booming tourism industry so are very used to Westerners. When cycling and trekking - comfortable clothes / work out wear is suitable which may include tank tops and shorts. On the days that you are visiting temples such as day 7 wear clothing that covers your shoulders and long skirt or pants. In the beach community it’s fine to wear beach attire, bikinis, etc. When in doubt always check in with your guide. But good to bring a couple more conservative outfits.
Tour Deposits - are due any time starting now until end of September 2018. This will ensure that we will get the first choice for accommodations and have a good idea of the group size.
