Join guide, Marcus Baretti, in a wild adventure through La Costa Verde, the Green Coast of Brazil. From the town of Angra dos Reis you’ll get the chance to enjoy the view of some of the 365 islands that are located in this area, the biggest island being Ilha Grande, your adventure destination. Explore charming fishing villages scattered through the island such as Gruta do Acaia, Praia de Proveta (considered the largest fishing community in the island) Praia dos Meros and finally Praia do Aventureiro. Hike through the Reserva Biologica da Praia do Sul, in search of mangroves, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and caves. You’ll get the chance to explore the wildest locations of the island with your guide, who will ensure you find an abundance of wilderness, beautiful scenery and a multitude of Beaches, such as Bananal beach & Enseada de Aracatiba beach.

Experience Ilha Grande with local guide, Marcus Barretti, who will take you off the beaten track and show you the lush landscapes, beautiful views and hidden beaches of this island.

Spend your days relaxing in Paradise. Visit over 6 different beaches on the island and explore waterfalls, cave pools and rivers around the island.
Beaches you'll visit are;
- Aventureiro beach
- Demo beach
- Sul beach
- Leste beach
- Parnaioca beach

Hike up the Sundara Peak that gives you a spectacular view of the open ocean, Praia do Sul and Praia do Leste which are nestled into the Reserva Biologica.

Hike to Praia da Parnaioca, another paradise on the island of Ilha Grande, where you'll spend the day swimming in the natural pools around the waterfall, which is a 15 min hike from the beach.

There'll be plenty of time to surf, practice Slack Lining, snorkel, paddle boat, kayak, collect coconuts from the trees or do some fishing.

Visit Praia de Proveta the Bigger fishing village and meet the locals.

Day 1: Meet your guide, Marcus Barretti, at the Angra dos Reis bus station, and take a 3 hour boat ride leaving from the tourism dock in Angra dos Reis to Praia do Aventureiro beach and name of village. Set up accommodation and get a nice local lunch in one of the village restaurants that faces the ocean. Camping or local accommodations with families. Enjoy the beach in the afternoon and take a short hike to Praia do Demo only 10 minutes away from Aventureiro beach which is already part of the Biological Reserve Area. Praia do Demo is an awesome surfing spot with great swells. This part of the island offers really good waves for advanced surfers as well as beginners that are learning. Surf Boards & Stand up Paddle boards are available for rent at Aventureiro beach. Or explore further to Praia de Sul, which is set even further in the mangroves. A 2 hour hike further down you'll find Praia do Leste. Then Return to the village for a fresh water shower and get a nice dinner and enjoy some drinks at the local Surf Bar.

Day 2 : After breakfast and some relaxation time, go for a 30 min hike up the Sundara Peak that gives you a view of the open ocean, Praia do Sul and Praia do Leste nestled into the Reserva Biologica. Return to the village for a swim at the dock and to refresh from the hike. Enjoy some local food and drinks at the village. After lunch enjoy some recreational activities at Praia do Demo or hike up to the village for a crop tour and view local communities of the area. Return and enjoy a casual evening of dinner and some drinks down at the beach.

Day 3 : Have an early Breakfast then go on a 40 min boat ride or take a 4 hr hike to Praia da Parnaioca, another paradise on the island of Ilha Grande, where you'll spend the day swimming in the natural pools around the waterfall, which is a 15 min hike from the beach. Visit an amazing village with only a few families that maintain the beauty of the land. Some of the attractions are snorkelling in the ocean, fishing, and relaxing. Lunch will be with locals in the area before you head back to Praia do Aventureiro. Enjoy a beautiful sunset at the end of the day while you enjoy your dinner and some drinks.

Day 4: This is a good day to stay around Aventureiro beach and Praia do Demo beach. Surf. Practice Slack Lining. Snorkel, paddle boat or try to harvest some coconuts from the trees or do some fishing.

Day 5: Your last day on the island is at your discretion. Whether you wish to relax, snorkel out off the coast via a boat ride, go on a native canoe ride or hike into the reserve, your options are endless. There is the option to visit Praia de Proveta the Bigger fishing village, where the scenery is lush and the view spectacular. Then return to Agra dos Reis.

Camping or optional cabin rentals at Praia do Aventureiro beach camp site.
Staying with local families is also available and can be organized at the discretion of the guide.
